ActiveFX™
ActiveFX, performed in our Connecticut office, is a fractional laser skin rejuvenation procedure that offers real results with little "downtime" with a single treatment. During the procedure, a high-energy beam of laser light is used to smooth out lines, wrinkles and scars, remove brown spots and other irregularities, and tighten the skin. It also stimulates formation of new underlying collagen to continue improvement over time. With fractional laser treatment, only a fraction of the skin's surface is treated by the laser leaving small "bridges" of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much faster and enables you to get back to normal activities sooner.
DeepFX™
DeepFX is an ultrapulse laser that can treat deep wrinkles and scars, and adjust skin tone. DeepFX is a fractional CO2 laser that targets deeper structures than ActiveFX. This laser increases collagen production and creates smoother and healthier skin in the treated areas, helping to create a fresh, more youthful-looking you. The improvements from DeepFX can last for many years.
TotalFX™
TotalFX is a new treatment from Lumenis that combines the ActiveFX and DeepFX systems. The results are fractional resurfacing of the skin surface, removing sun damage and brown spots, as well as treatment for the deeper skin, improving wrinkles, scars, and uneven skin tone. TotalFX is a complete resurfacing treatment capable of astounding results. It is a long-term treatment with results that last for years.
